The Osprey was a real delight, just down the road from our airbnb. It's the kind of place where you can Id people at other tables using linked in and the crowd mostly seems like the type who boat in for drinks. Despite extremely low expectations (beyond strong drinks) we found The Osprey to be surprisingly ambitious, with an entire vegan page of a two page menu. We dined on the patio, they also have lawn area by the marina that is just a bar and a pretty decent cover band was playing classic rock tunes. I've diner at "Marina restaurants" up and down the east and west coast (mass, nh, Maine and California (sd, la, sf, oak, monterey, Santa barbara) and this was a memorable experience for a restaurant in that category. Although I'm not a yacht guy I do appreciate legit old money vibes and this spot has that.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. I love that it’s on the water in the middle of a boatyard. The restaurant has amazing views. We split a lobster roll and hand cut fries and they were both done just the way we like them. A soft roll full of fresh sweet local lobster with warm butter. Basic and outstanding. Tons of vegetarian options also. The service was great and we will definitely be going back!

We had a lovely time here. The food was of high quality and was prepared quickly. The staff was attentive and the view over the water was typically Maine.

Beyond the delicious food and the amazing view, it was the service from Will and Zoli we noticed. From the moment we stepped into the Osprey, we were met with warmth and gratitude by the whole staff. And then listening to music by Jimmy & Ann with welcoming locals afterwards rounded out a perfect experience. Had a lovely chat with Zoli who shared his approach to nurturing relationships with his staff which spills out to their guests. In addition, he accommodates lots of dietary needs - gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, etc. Do yourself a favor, find this gem - especially on a Monday night! PS - here is your warning - be careful of filling up on the warm focaccia bread they bring to every table!!! Zoli, until next time, keep on doing what you are doing!!

We visited for the first time last week and we're extremely happy! The owner sat us and took our drink order while engaging in friendly conversation (we didn't know he was at the time). We just wanted a drink by the water on our little drive on the coast. But glancing at the menu changed our minds. My husband got the clam chowder and said it was the best he ever had, (he's had a lot!) I had a appetizer that was kale, mushrooms over a cashew cream sauce. It was fabulous, exotic mushrooms fried as was the kale, no batter! It was top notch service, friendliness, food and atmosphere. These coastal businesses only have a few months to make it, stop over and support them!

First time here and had a wonderful experience. We were the first ones there and were greeted by the owner who was super nice as were the rest of the staff! I absolutely loved the Mary Barrets Bones cocktail, it was so refreshing! Burger was delicious too glad I added the caramelized onions ...

Very beautiful view. Friendly staff who seem to really enjoy their job. Good food and drinks. We went for my husband's 40th. It was perfect. Get the muscles.

This was one of the best dining experiences I can remember! Elevated cuisine in a welcoming, warm, and unpretentious setting. The food was exceptional, my cocktail was unique and well-balanced, and the service was excellent (friendly, attentive, and fast even on a busy evening!) The owner was making the rounds as well and had a nice chat with us; he is clearly so passionate about what he is doing, and it shows! We appreciated that this was a restaurant where we could bring our toddler (and order for him off of the kids menu) and also have a very special evening ourselves. We will be back next time we are in the area!
